The Lesville town council unanimously agreed to allow Valumart to buy the Callahan Farm. Plans have been approved to a build a Super Valumart. Construction will begin as soon as the farm structures are demolished and the crops are burned.

Valumart officials are excited to bring their chain to Lesville. The nearest competitor, Hometown General Store, is across the street. Valuemart spokesman, Joe Economics, stated, "We welcome the competition!" Hometownís owner was very nervous about the final decision of the board, but refused to comment on the situation.

Community members rallied around the local business at the town meeting. Their voices were ignored by members who were obliviously excited at the prospect of more tax revenue. Valumart will open on Thanksgiving Day.
