The truck drivers of Brooks Deliveries, Inc. have decided to strike! They claim- unsafe working conditions. The drivers state that the trucks are very old and require daily maintenance just to perform every day operations.

Drivers fear their own safety while operating these vehicles. Claims of brake system failure, acceleration pedals and gears sticking, and tires blowing out have been reported across the nation. Many goods are damaged in transit because worn locks sometimes break, causing materials to fall from the truck.

The drivers are often late to their destinations. Many are verbally, sometimes physically, accosted and abused by angry managers and supervisors after seeing the poor condition of their products. The truckers feel that over 50% of the vehicles are beyond repair. They refuse to return to work until new, safer trucks are available.
